Man...some days I wish I knew more about car maintenance (and how cars work in general). Today would be a prime example. I'm about to head off to pay over $600 to get a battery of fluids flushed, filled, jammed up asses, etc., at the local Tuffy. The people there are great, but the amount I owe sucks. All I know is that the Bravada better drive out of the parking lot like it just rolled off the factory floor brand-friggin' new. Quickly approaching 93,000 miles so I suppose it's time for some of these "routine" procedures.
Ironically, I just paid it off one week ago. Well, it could be worse, I could be paying for the car AND the maintenance simultaneously. All I know is that I'm going to be driving that bastard until the wheels fall off. Should last a bit longer now that I'm only putting 12-13K miles on it per year (less than half the annual miles I had commuting to my previous job).
Off to sign the second mortgage...ugh...
