Went down to Toledo with the clan today to check out the Toledo Zoo. Haven't been there in around 10 years and it's changed quite a bit. Cool thing is that since we're Detroit Zoo (which isn't in Detroit for those keeping track) members, we get the reciprocal zoo pricing which is half off. Nice exhibits there in some beautiful Gothic architecture inspired buildings. Ironically, the food court has a mid-level where you can sit behind these blue bars to emulate a caged animal pen. However, the fact-of-the-matter is that the zoo actually housed lions, tigers, and other carnivores in those pens back in the last 20's and early 30's. Mmmm...stop and smell the memories. Either way, beautiful day and we'll be back.

That's actually Liam,considering Alex's 4-foot+ head would be out of the picture! ;-)
